Who is Julien?
Julien Anton is an award-winning underwater photographer, environmental storyteller, and founding co-creator of TIGERSHARK.
Growing up with a fascination for the ocean’s mysteries, Julien turned his passion into purpose — capturing the fragility and beauty of marine life through his lens. Based in Tahiti, he brings over a decade of experience diving, documenting, and advocating for the ocean he calls home.
His work has been featured in global conservation campaigns, Netflix and National Geographic documentaries, and major international exhibitions — from the United Nations Ocean Conference to the National Maritime Museums of Australia and the Wilderwall Gallery in France.
Julien doesn’t just photograph the sea — he speaks its language. His images carry the urgency of conservation and the grace of natural design, making him one of the most respected voices in the field of marine visual storytelling.

From coral reefs to deep-sea descents, he pushed the gear through real-world challenges — pushing the QuickHook structure through over 100 dives — from coral reefs to deep-sea conditions — to validate its reliability and locking integrity.
